A bit about us
Nurture the Nature Forest School was founded in 2022 by Brittany Gillingham, a licensed Lead Forest School Practitioner and certified Therapeutic Skills Practitioner for Outdoor Leaders.
Through years of research and experience working with children and youth, Brittany saw the powerful impact that learning in and with nature can have, leading her to create a program where children can truly thrive.
"Passion is lifted from the Earth itself by the muddy hands of the young. It travels along grass-stained sleeves to the heart. If we are going to save environmentalism and the environment, we must also save an endangered indicator species: the child in nature” Richard Louv
